ABERDEEN, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – Although the winter sports season wrapped up this last weekend, it’s never too early to look ahead to the fall and the ’26 sports season. The Aberdeen Roncalli Cavalier football team has their season schedule finalized; the Cavaliers will open the year on the road against the Sioux Valley Cossacks on Friday, August 21st. The green & gold will have their home opener the following week against the Flandreau Fliers on the 28th. In September, the Cavs will have four games, two at home and two on the road. September 4th has the Cavaliers on the road at the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones & then returning home for back-to-back games at Dacotah Bank Stadium on September 11th & 18th against Deuel and Miller, respectively. On September 25th, Roncalli will jump on the bus and travel west to battle the Tigers of Mobridge-Pollock and then enjoy their bye week on October 2nd. On October 9th, the Cavaliers will head east on highway 12 to take on 11A squad, the Bulldogs of Milbank, before wrapping up the regular season on October 16th against the Tigers of Groton Area. The home for Cavalier football will once again be Pheasant Country 103, with the voice of the Cavaliers, going into his season year at the helm, Matt McClure. You can read the full schedule below:
