Representative Al Novstrup discuss trip to the Far East to address trade

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- A delegation representing South Dakota in March spent time in Japan and South Korea to address trade with those countries.  Among the delegation included the Lt. Governor Tony Venhuizen, Secretary of Agriculture, Hunter Roberts, and South Dakota Trade President & CEO Jesse Fonkert.

Also participating on the trip and the only South Dakota legislator to be apart of that was District 3 Representative Al Novstrup of Aberdeen.

Novstrup talks about the main purpose of this was to address trade with Far East countries.

Novstrup discuss how the group look to get trade established with South Dakota.

While the group was there to address trade, Novstrup talked about when they were in South Korea, they had a chance to tour the tunnels right around the North & South Korea.

Novstrup talked about how much support South Korea has for the United States.

The main goal was to advance agriculture and enhance economic partnerships with Japan & South Korea.
