ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Connections Series continued Thursday at the K.O.Lee Public Library.

Feature speaker was Shane Phillips, General Manger of WEB Water.  The theme was an update on the WINS project.

WEB Water has been around for over 40 years.  Phillips describe what they do.

Phillips talks about the expansion done at the treatment plant near Selby.

Phillips update on what they are doing out in Day County near Waubay.

Phillips describes that they are trying to put in fiberglass pipes instead of metal pipes.

Phillips told the public that they have to keep working on small projects on a yearly basis rather than all at once.

Phillips describe the projected budget for now for the water from the Missouri River to get to the northeast region.

Phillips describe how they hope to get the funding for this project.

Phillips talks about how much water infrastructure goes into it benefit the communities and counties.
