ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- The People’s Choice Award is the only ABBY award to be judged locally.  It is presented to a business or organization who demonstrates exceptional performance in its support of our community and region.

All who complete an ABBY application in any category are eligible to win the award.  Businesses cannot win back to back years.  Last year, Sun and Sea Travel Co. won the People’s Choice Award.

Votes will be accepted from now until 5:00 pm on Friday, April, 10th.   You can vote online by visiting this link.

Winner will be announced at the 2026 ABBY Awards on Thursday, April 16th.  The event will take place at the Best Western Aberdeen.  The social begins at 5:30 pm.  Dinner will take place at 6:15 pm.  The award ceremony itself beginning at 7:30 pm.
