ABERDEEN, S.D. (Hub City Radio)

On 04/09/26 at approximately 8:10 p.m., Aberdeen Police were dispatched to a private property injury accident in the 500 block of S. State St. Initial reports indicated an individual had been struck by a vehicle and was trapped underneath.

Officers, along with Aberdeen Fire and Rescue and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, arrived on scene and began rendering aid. The individual was transported by Aberdeen Fire and Rescue to a local hospital.

The driver, 20-year-old Aberdeen resident Ellison Jane Walkingbull, was cited for No Valid Driver’s License. The investigation remains ongoing.
