Saint Paul, MN (NSUWolves.com) – Wolves baseball ended their three-game series against the Golden Bears Monday. After taking a comfortable lead in the fifth, CSP came back, went up and never looked back.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dillon Castellanos stepped up to the plate for the Wolves in the first inning; he homered to right center field on a full count to give Northern State an early lead
- NSU put up two more runs in the top of the second; Dalton Kesti batted in Kyle Konechne on an RBI single, Dylan Soulek scored on a Castellanos double
- The first batter of the second for CSP hit a home run to get the Golden Bears on the board
- Bases loaded set up Collin Lott to touch home when Andrew Niaves was hit by a pitch
- A sacrifice fly by Soulek brough Casey Vining home, a Kesti single brought Mateo Tahsini in
- Concordia brought two more runs in during the third, Wolves up 6-3
- Scoring for Northern ended in the fifth when Soulek batted in Konechne and Tahsini came home on a wild pitch; NSU on top 8-3 in the middle of the fifth
- The bottom of the fifth saw 10 runs from the Golden Bears; CSP immediately responds and goes up 13-8
- The Wolves wouldn’t score again and left six runners on base the rest of the game
