Duluth, MN (NSUWolves.com) [Day 2 of 3] – The Northern State University track and field team took part in day two of the NSIC Outdoor Championships Friday. Wolves set personal and program records, qualified for finals, and stood atop the standings in today’s events.
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN
- Sam Tremelling took the gold in the men’s pole vault with his 4.92m mark; Eli Radtke (4.82m) and Rudi May (4.67m) finished third and sixth respectively
- Taking the top spot in the 100m prelims was Chris Weber; he ran a 10.44 to qualify for finals and hit a provisional mark
- Finishing third in the men’s long jump was Jayden Munroe and his 7.42m leap; he earned a provisional mark and the 19 rank in the nation
- Drew Henriksen recorded a personal best time and qualified for finals with his 53.35 fifth place run in the 400m hurdles prelims
- Elias Londahl finished the men’s decathlon in fifth place with 6041 total points; he timed 16.57 (110m hurdles) and 4:55.21 (1500m) with marks of 28.14m (discus), 4.12m (pole vault), and 39.56m (javelin) to wrap up the multi
- Fifth place in the 100m prelims went to Julian Scott as his 10.58 time qualified him for finals
- Three Wolves finished in the top-7 in the men’s high jump, all with a 2.02m mark but different missed attempts; Dylan Hoot in fifth, Martins Ogedenbe-Dobies in sixth, and Jeffery Boschee in seventh
- In nineth place and qualifying for the 400m finals was Drew Salfrank’s 48.31 time
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Getting a new personal record in the 3000m steeplechase was Blake Stoks and his 10:10.81 time; Zachary Palmer also set a pr in the event, crossing the line in 10:38.13
- A 15.46 time in the 110m hurdles prelims was enough for Greyson Schuetzle to record a personal best
- Carter Dingman ran a 49.62 in the 400m prelims to set a pr
- Setting a personal best was Hoot with his 2.02m high jump
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN
- Renea Taylor stood atop the standings in the 100m hurdles prelims; she ran a 13.86 time to notch a personal best, qualify for finals, and rank 17 in the nation
- Taylor also came in second in the 100m prelims (11.61) and the 400m hurdles prelims (1:01.52) to qualify for finals in both events; her 100m time put her at 16 in the country in the event
- Silver in the high jump was secured by Tayla Dobrenski; her 1.69m height earned her a provisional mark and a personal record
- Jumping up a spot from yesterday was Morgan Sheldon in the heptathlon to finish third with 4695 total points; she jumped 5.21m in the long jump, threw 33.20m in the javelin, and ran 2:31.39 in the 800m
- A 13.50m toss in the shot put got Grace Kuch a fifth place finish
- Seventh place in the women’s long jump went to Alexa Fender and her 5.54m mark
- Abby Hasart crossed the finish line in the women’s 10000m at 37:23.71, coming in seventh place and setting a personal record
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Taylor broke a program record with her 13.86 100m hurdle time; the previous record was 13.93 set in 2022
- Emaleigh Olesiak’s 39:02.30 time in the 10000m earned her a personal best
- 14.69 in the 100m hurdles prelims earned Julia Skari a personal record; Skari also set a pr in the 400m hurdles prelims with a 1:04.72 time
- With her 46.64m heave in the hammer throw, Brooke Mushatt recorded a personal best

Duluth, MN (NSUWolves.com) [Day 3 of 3] – The Northern State University track and field team closed action at the NSIC Outdoor Championships Saturday. NSU’s men finished second with 101.5 team points while the women took fourth with 66 team points.
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN
- First place in the men’s 4x400m relay went to the team of Drew Salfrank, Carter Dingman, Geoffrey Mannino, and Drew Henriksen and their 3:16.79 time
- Levi Reis finished on top of the javelin standings with his 60.97m mark
- The top-2 spots of the 100m went to Wolves; Chris Weber (10.48) took the gold and Julian Scott (10.51) went home with the silver
- 54.03 in the 400m hurdles was enough for Henriksen to come in second
- The men’s 4x100m team of Scott, Weber, Salfrank and Ty Kadlec ran a 41.02 time to finish second
- Salfrank also took fourth in the 400m event as he crossed the line in 48.11
- Capturing fourth place in the triple jump was Jayden Munroe’s 14.48m leap

- Henriksen’s 400m hurdle time earned him a new personal record
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN
- Coming in second place with a 13.69 run was Renea Taylor in the 100m hurdles; she hit a provisional mark and ranks as 11 in the nation
- Taylor also got the silver in the 100m and 400m hurdles; her 11.58 100m time stands at 12 in the country while her 1:00.06 400m hurdles time set a facility record
- A 3.76m mark in the pole vault earned Romane Maugest third place; Bekah Walz came in fifth with her 3.76m mark(missing her first attempt)
- Macoya Hansen threw for 39.23m in the javelin to secure fifth
- The team of Julia Skari, Taylor, Elisabet Osk Jonsdottir, and Alexa Fender took sixth in the women’s 4x100m relay with a time of 47.55
- The women’s discus saw Andi Mehrer throw 41.43m earning her a seventh place finish
- Eighth in the 4x400m relay was taken by Osk Jonsdottir, Skari, Morgan Sheldon, and Taylor as they combined for a 4:02.40 time
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Taylor’s 13.69 100m hurdles run set a new program record, previously set by herself in yesterday’s 100m hurdles prelims; she also tied the program 100m record with her 11.58 time
- Liz Dunham set a new personal best with her 3.56m mark in the pole vault
