ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission on Tuesday provided their weekly update on the Richmond Dam project.  The project is still in the draining phase.

Brown County Commission Duane Sutton announced that two pumps are now operating.

One other note regarding Richmond, the commission addressed where the firework show will take place on Friday, July 3rd.  Commissioner Sutton addressed concerns raised by citizens in the area so now it will go back to where they are normally taking place each year.

The commission also approved the alcohol permit that will be used for this event on July 3rd.
