Candidates for Governor discuss their campaigns

SOUTH DAKOTA(HubCityRadio)- On Tuesday, June 2nd, South Dakota Republican voters cast ballots for their candidate for Governor of South Dakota.  No candidate received the 35% needed to advance to November.  The top two were Aberdeen businessman Toby Doeden(31%) and current Governor Larry Rhoden.  Both candidates reflected on those results and look ahead to the runoff on Tuesday, July 28th with KELOLAND.

Doeden talked about how Congressman Johnson propelled his campaign toward the runoff.

KELOLAND has reached out to both candidates for a televised debate.  Toby Doeden has accepted.  Governor Rhoden has not reached back to KELOLAND’s request.
