ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Absentee voting for the Republican nomination for Governor runoff will begin on Friday.  The only place to vote early in Brown County is at the Brown County Courthouse.  You are required to bring ID in order to vote.  The candidates for the runoff are Governor Larry Rhoden & Aberdeen businessman Toby Doeden.

The hours of operation at the Courthouse is Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM.

Some dates to consider:

The office will be closed for the following days for federal holidays:

Friday, June 19th for Juneteenth Day

Friday, July 3rd for Independence Day Holiday(July 4th falls on Saturday this year)

One other date to note is the deadline to register to vote for the runoff is Monday, July 13th.
