ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday night, the Aberdeen City Council address a Hunting Access and Habitat contract with the South Dakota Game, Fish, and Park.  The location they were looking at was at 39023 126th Street.

Aberdeen City Manager Dave McNeil described where this is located at.

Regional Director with Game, Fish, and Parks, Joe Galbraith talks about what they would like to use this for.

They hope to use that portion for fishing but the pond was determined to not be deep enough to do that.

The council approved the request.

Galbraith reminded the council of other things the department has done for the city.  This include doing a walking trail near Willow Creek.

Another is making Wylie Lake a location to fish at for the entire family.
