  • Madi Jones – CR8 Soda
  • Jessica Cihak – Everlasting Bloom
  • Jacqueline Cutler – Opus ABA LLC

Northern Innovation and Startup Center Director Bea Smith talked about how this has impacted the previous winners Minds Matter and Optical Performance.

Executive Director of the ADC, Tim Hanigan discussed the role they played on entrepreneurship.

Hanigan announced Cr8 Soda won the competition.

Cr8 Soda also won Northern State’s Idea Pitch competition back in November of last year.  Madi Jones reminded everyone what they are.

Jones announced back in November that she hoped to have the business open in June.  Unfortunately that didn’t happen.  Jones provided an update.

The slogan for Cr8 Soda is Built to Ship, Make to Sip.  Jones talked about how she came up with that slogan.

When Jones won the competition last November she won a $500 prize.  Monday night she won $10,000.  She discussed what she hopes to use the money for.

No timeline on when the business will open but Jones hope to have it near the Northern State campus.
