SOUTH DAKOTA(Hub City Radio)- On Tuesday, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, Julian Beaudion announced he has suspended his campaign for the U.S. Senate seat.
Beuadion declared for now he will not be endorsing either U.S. Senator Mike Rounds or Independent candidate Brian Bengs for the November elections.
Beaudion is a business owner and former trooper with the South Dakota Highway Patrol. He had only $3,078.11 cash on hand as of Tuesday, per the Federal Election Commission. Bengs had $51,405.51, and Rounds had $2,736,663.91.
Also in his release, Beaudion was dealing with some personal issues including a house fire in recent weeks.
“The mental and physical safety of my family is my priority and for this reason, I step aside,”
