Doyle Laib, 84, Eureka, SD, died Friday, August 21, 2026 at his home. Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, September 4, 2026 at Lien-Straub-Carlsen Chapel, Eureka, led by Pastor David Irwin. Military rites will be performed by the Fred Weller American Legion Post No. 186, Eureka, SD. Inurnment and a prayer service will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck, ND, time and date to be determined.

Doyle is survived by Ellen, his wife of 60 years; one son, Terry LeeLaib Schramm and son-in-law, Randy Schramm of Bismarck; two daughters, Sandy Laib and Tawny Opp of Bismarck; four grandchildren—Travis, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, and Joseph; two great grandchildren, twin boys Preston and Praxton; and nephew, David DeWall.

Services are in care of Lien-Straub-Carlsen Chapel, Eureka.
