ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- The Aberdeen City Council heard updates on the progress made on the Water Reclamation Facility.

Dennis Rebelein, Wastewater Department Head for Banner Associates, talked about the project that was first introduced back in 2001.

Rebelein described what they are looking at with the facility.

Rebelein went over the four phases that’s part of this project.

Here’s the progress made of the buildings that’s a part of phase 1.

Pretreatment: 32%

Primary Clarification: 19%

Intermediate Pump Station: 43%

Blower Building: 12%

Aeration Basins: 70%

Final Clarification: 61%

UV Disinfection: 27%
