ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- Earlier this month the South Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals (SDASSP) honored Aberdeen Central Principal Jason Uttermark with the 2026-27 High School Principal of the Year.

On Monday night, Aberdeen Public School Superintendent Beck Guffin recognized this at the School Board meeting.

Dr. Uttermark recognized his staff for allowing him to accept this award.

Uttermark talked about how he first got into administration to begin with.

Uttermark has been Aberdeen Central’s Principal for the last 21 years.
