Late Monday, the second person was convicted of Murder at the trial in the death of Aberdeen Native Morgan Bauer. Katelyn Goble was found guilty of all charges, while her accomplice Jonathan Alexander Warren (Alex Warren), was arrested in Los Angeles in 2023. Warren pleaded guilty in January 2024 in Newton County to malice murder, tampering with evidence, concealing the death of another and necrophilia, according to several media reports. He is currently serving life in prison without parole.

Goble was sentenced Tuesday Afternoon and will serve Life without parole for Murder and 4 years for acts of Habeas Corpus.

Bauer went missing in 2016 just weeks after moving to Georgia, there were no answers, until remains were found in 2023, when the cold case was ignited with the new evidence.
