ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- The Aberdeen City Council will hold their meeting Tuesday at the Municipal Building. Normally it would be on a Monday but won’t be because of Labor Day which is a federal holiday.
The main focus on the meeting will be the 2027 City Budget. The budget is estimated to be about 183 million dollars.
They will introduce their ordinance to start off the meeting. Later they will address their CIP(Capital Improvement Plan) from 2027-2031.
The council will also set procedures for the September 14th meeting for the public’s input on data centers. Remember that meeting on Monday will be at the Civic Theater beginning at 5:30pm.
They will also address payment requests for projects involving the Aberdeen Regional Airport as well as water related projects.
The meeting begins at 5:30pm and is open to the general public.
