ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- The Aberdeen City Council did a first reading on an ordinance looking to surplus land to be used by an organization for humanitarian purposes.

Aberdeen City Manager Dave McNeil described the location they were looking to surplus.

McNeil told the council he would like to take the surplus building and allow Midwest Street Medicine to occupy it.

McNeil described a stipulation with this agreement.

The Aberdeen City Council approved the first reading.  Second reading is scheduled for next Monday.
