ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- The Aberdeen School Board approved their budget for the 2026-27 school year.

The budget was first introduced in July.  Finance Director Michaela Solum went over the revenue projected for the school year.

Solum talked about projected expenses.

Solum informed the school board that they will be in a deficit of over $500,000.

Projected revenues are estimated to be just under 36 million dollars while expenses to be around 36.5 million.
