ABERDEEN, S.D. (Hub City Radio)-
On Monday night, during the open forum, Melanie Bobby with the Aberdeen New Start Program asked for an update on her request for an emergency shelter to address homelessness during the winter months.
Aberdeen City Manager Dave McNeil informed her that they have reached out to the Brown County Commission.
Bobby as mentioned said 26 people are considered homeless in Aberdeen down from 28 the previous week. She did say that figure can fluctute on a weekly basis.
