PIERRE, S.D. (KCCR) – Passenger numbers for September at Pierre Regional Airport are some of the best the airport has ever seen. Pierre City Commissioner Jamie Huizenga presented the enplanement numbers to the Pierre City Commission Tuesday night.

Huizenga says the timing for the big numbers worked out, too.

Huizenga says Pierre should easily pass the 10,000 passenger mark for the year.

Huizenga says SkyWest Airlines operating as United Express had no cancelled flights out of Pierre Regional Airport in September.
