SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – A moose on the loose in Sioux Falls is still rare, but increasingly not unheard of.

Sioux Falls Animal Control Officer Julie DeJong said moose in the area have become more common.

DeJong has been monitoring the bull moose in a cornfield near Marion Road and I-90. He seems unconcerned by all the attention. DeJong says that at one point, he took a nap. They hope that when he wakes up he’ll wander out of here without running into any cars.
