PLATTE, S.D. (WNAX) – While the state’s media campaign, “Meth, We’re on it” has certainly gotten attention, the next step will be up to South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and the legislature.
House Majority Leader, Representative Lee Qualm of Platte says they know it is a problem.
Qualm says successful meth treatment takes some time.
Qualm says prevention efforts have to be aimed at kids in elementary school.
