ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Tyler Bierman as the Park Superintendent. Tyler will begin his new role on Monday, Dec. 16.

Bierman has served as a Park Technician for the past 5 years, working most recently at Wylie Park, but has worked throughout the system in various capacities.

He graduated from South Dakota State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Park Management. Bierman is also a Nationally Certified Playground Inspector and holds a certification from the National Recreation and Park Association as a Certified Leisure Professional.
