ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – R-CALF USA is holding a pair of informational meetings this week on the state of the cattle industry.

Meetings are scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at the Old Polo High School Gym (a free-will donation meal precedes that meeting at 6:30), and for 7 p.m. Wednesday,Dec. 18 at the AmericInn by Wyndham Event Center, 301 S. Centennial St. in Aberdeen.

There is no cost to attend the meetings.

Bill Bullard, CEO of R-CALF USA, talked about the goal of the meetings.

He said the meetings are primarily for producers, but open to anybody interested in the cattle industry.

Bullard said the plan is to address the problem and then try to find solutions for it.

He said a focus will include why country of origin labeling is so critical to the market.
