WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT) — Construction work is expected to begin this summer on a new airport terminal in Watertown.
Airport Manager Todd Syhre talked about the project.
Airport Manager Todd Syhre says the new terminal will have some features the current one doesn’t provide.
Syhre says construction will be carefully planned so interruptions at the current terminal building and adjacent areas are kept to a minimum.
Syhre says the total cost of the project is expected to come in around $20 million – at least half of which will be covered by federal grants.
