YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – As the South Dakota legislative session starts this week, lawmakers will have a couple weeks to introduce bills.
Senator Craig Kennedy of Yankton says he will have at least one bill from his work on a summer study committee on controlled substances.
Kennedy says he could have a co-sponsor on a study bill.
Kennedy says most budget bills deal only with spending.
The session starts today with the main run set to go to March 12.
