ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Authorities have ruled a recent fatal shooting in Aberdeen to be justifiable homicide

Zach Newell, 25, of Warner, was shot multiple times in the early morning hours of Jan. 25 in the 1100 block of S. Washington St. He was pronounced dead at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital.

Authorities have known who shot Newell, but his name has not been released.

According to the Brown County State’s Attorney’s Office no charges will be filed.
