HOT SPRINGS, S.D. (KXLG) – Officials in Hot Springs are dealing with a devastating Fire that began shortly after 8:30 last night. Frank Maynard is the Fall River County  Emergency Management Director. He says the 911 call came in shortly at 8:36 last night.

Maynard says that firefighters are on-scene and they will be for the remainder of the day.

Maynard says that it is not immediately known what started the fire.

Maynard says there are no immediate reports of injuries.

Maynard says almost a full block has been destroyed. They are being assisted by numerous agencies from throughout the area. Once again that is in Hot Springs.
