WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – Congress is back in session in Washington following their Presidents Day break.
Following the impeachment trial of President Trump and being an election year, there is concern not much will get done the rest of the year.
South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson is optimistic.
Johnson says despite the differences, they have been able to get some bills passed.
Johnson says the ability to compromise has diminished over the years.
Next on the House agenda is working through the 12 budget bills.
