Despite that, there are no sweeping bills on mental health in this year’s session.
Assistant Senate Majority Leader Jim Bolin of Canton says they will continue to work on it.
House Majority Leader Lee Qualm of Platte says it is still a priority for them.
There are at least a dozen bills dealing with various mental health issues that have been introduced this year.
