ABERDEEN, S.D. (APD Facebook post) – At 11:18 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 29 Aberdeen Police responded to the 900 block of South Washington Street in reference to the report of a man with a long gun in the alley yelling at neighbors.

Just prior to officers’ arrival, a single shot was fired.

A suspect is in custody and the investigation continues. It does not appear that any injuries occurred as a result of this incident.
