Howard named new manager at Pierre Regional Airport

PIERRE, S.D. (KCCR) – The City of Pierre has a new manager in place at Pierre Regional Airport.  Cameron Howard of Owensboro, Kentucky was introduced to the Pierre City Commission for the first time Tuesday night. Howard says so far his family; including four children are enjoying the Capital City.

Airport Liaison Commissioner Jamie Huizenga says Howard stood out among the applicants.

Howard is a licensed pilot himself.  He says Pierre is quite similar to his home of Owensboro.

He replaces long time Airport Manager Mike Isaacs who moved on to a similar position in Lewiston, Idaho.
