VERMILLION, S.D. (WNAX) – Seniors at the University of South Dakota finishing classes this week now have a date set for graduation ceremonies. The original May 9 date was altered and all other on campus activities were canceled due to the pandemic.
USD President Sheila Gestring says they will celebrate the class on October 24.
Gestring says they want it to be a big day.
Gestring says they hope most seniors and families can make the date.
Classes at USD have been online only since mid-March.
