ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – A portion of Aberdeen lost power earlier today after a vehicle struck a utility pole near Browne Park.

The incident occurred around noon, according to Tom Glanzer, Community Relations Manager with Northwestern Energy.

He said the outage impacted nearly 2,000 customers.

Glanzer said it was unfortunate that the outage took place over many people’s lunch hour.
