ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Northern State will honor its 260 graduates on Saturday, May 9, but not with an on-campus celebration.

Instead, the university will post a short video on its Facebook and Twitter pages at 10:30 a.m., the same time that regular graduation ceremonies were scheduled.

Justin Fraase, Director of Communications and Marketing at NSU, talked about the changes.

In addition, there is a plan in place to honor those graduates during Gypsy Days festivities Sept. 21-26.

Fraase said that graduates will also be welcome to come and participate in the winter commencement ceremony Dec. 12 or next year’s spring commencement.
