PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – While a group has formed to oppose a constitutional amendment on the ballot in November that would legalize recreational marijuana in South Dakota, they won’t take a position on IM-26, which would legalize medical marijuana.
Dave Owen, who heads up the “No Way on A” committee says that issue is more narrowly focused.
Owen says they expect an extensive campaign from the backers of the marijuana amendment.
The supporters of the marijuana amendment are running a combined campaign with the medical marijuana backers.
