ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – Weather permitting beginning at approximately 7 a.m. this morning work will begin on the City’s annual Mill & Overlay project. The work will begin with milling the street surfaces and then move on to paving operations after that. Streets scheduled for this work are:

  First Avenue SE from S Lincoln St to S Kline St

          Fourth Ave SW/SE from S 2^nd St to S Washington St

          Third Ave SE from S Dakota St to S Harrison St

         S Lawson St from 12^th Ave SE to Melgaard Road SE

Motorists should expect occasional street closures and delays as they travel through these areas and are advised to find alternate routes if possible. Call the City Engineering Department at 605-626-7017 for more information.
