Private plane diverted to Watertown Regional Airport

WATERTOWN, S.D. (KXLG) – The Watertown Regional Airport was notified at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday by Minneapolis Center that a private King Air Twin aircraft was diverting to the Watertown Airport due to a possible landing gear problem. Watertown Regional Airport Manager Todd Syhre.

Syhre said the aircraft then flew back around and landed safely.

There was no reported damage to the plane and no injuries.

According to Syhre, the original destination of the aircraft and its home base was unavailable.
