KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WNAX) – The National Weather Service is warning that rivers in much of the Missouri River Basin could stay high into the summer.
Wendy Pearson, deputy chief of hydrologic services for the National Weather Service in Kansas City says those conditions will be widespread.
Pearson says there are several chances for precipitation in the next couple of weeks.
Pearson says that precipitation will rapidly run off.
Pearson says there could be a range of precipitation from thunderstorms to snow.
