SDSU Extension offering workshops to help farmers deal with stress

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The South Dakota State University Extension office is trying to help farmers cope with the stresses of the profession.

There are two events scheduled for Monday, April 15 in Aberdeen. They will take place at the SDSU Extension Aberdeen Regional Center, 13 Second Ave. S.E.

Suzanne Stluka (sloo-ka), SDSU Extension Food and Families Program Director, talked about the workshops.

Stluka understands that farmers and ranchers are under a lot of stress.

There is a $30 fee for the workshop while the evening workshop and meal are free. Stluka said those planning on coming should register as soon as possible.
