YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – The Conservation Stewardship Program enrollment deadline is May 10 for funding this year. South Dakota NRCS CSP Coordinator Jessica (muh-hull-skee) Michalski says changes to the CSP program include larger payments for practices like cover and high residue crops.
She says the popularity of CSP has been growing in South Dakota and the state now leads the nation in enrollment.
Michalski says CSP is a great program for producers because it rewards them for practices most of them are already using.
Michalski advises those interested in the CSP program to sign up as soon as possible at their local county NRCS office.
