PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- The Pierre Fire Department has released additional information on a small structure fire in a Pierre restaurant Monday night.  Fire Chief Ian Paul says dark smoke and some fire was visible when firefighters arrived on scene shortly after 7PM.

Paul says firefighters attacked the fire from all sides.

Paul says the fire remains under investigation, but appears accidental.

Paul says less than a dozen customers and staff evacuated the Super China Buffet building on Sioux Avenue as firefighters arrived.  No one was injured. Crews were on scene around an hour with assistance from law enforcement, AMR Ambulance and the Fort Pierre Fire Department.
