YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- A bill dealing with women’s sports and trans gender students is on Governor Kristi Noem’s desk, waiting on a decision.
Yankton School Superintendent Wayne Kindle says local districts can deal with these type of issues.
Kindle says it creates anxiety and extra work for all involved.
Kindle says school districts don’t need this kind of oversight from the state.
Right after the bill passed, the Governor tweeted she was eager to sign the bill, but in later statements has said there are some problems with the bill.
