PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators did a good job of spending hundreds of millions in one-time dollars this year.

Dave Owen, President of the State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, says they made good investments.

Owen says they money was spread over a number of needs and projects.

Owen, a long time lobbyist and observer of the legislature, says there weren’t many fights over the money.

Legislators return to Pierre next Monday for the final day of the 2021 session.
