SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Members of Congress are returning to Washington following the Easter break and President Bidens proposed infrastructure plan will take center stage.

The President’s plan calls for about two trillion dollars in spending on roads, bridges, rail, waterways, airports and other related facilities.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says he can support some of the plans goals.

Thune says the plan costs too much.

Thune says he will be focused on the highway funding formula under the Biden plan.

The plan would be paid for by raising the corporate tax rate to 28% and the global minimum tax rate to 21%.
