Sanford Aberdeen sets three walk-in clinics for vaccines

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Aberdeen American News)- Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center has set three walk-in clinics for people interested in getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

The vaccinations will be given at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center, 2905 Third Ave. S.E., and are available to anyone 18 and older. Walk-in times are:

  • Wednesday, April 28:  8 a.m.-noon.
  • Thursday, May 6: 1-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 12: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

While vaccines are available to anyone 16 and older, appointments are required for anyone who is 16 or 17, per the release. Those wishing to receive a vaccine do not have to be Sanford patients. Appointments can be made through My Sanford Chart or at sanfordhealth.org.

Once the vaccine is given, patients must wait in an observation area for 15 minutes. Face masks are required.
