ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Coming up on Saturday, May 8th, the NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) nationwide will be doing the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
At Monday’s Aberdeen City Council meeting Mayor Travis Schaunaman made this proclamation.
If you had not received a bag from your mailman yet, letter carrier Dan Bruckner tells us that any bag will do.
Communication & Impact Coordinator of United Way of Northeast SD, Angie Cleberg provides a list of sponsor helping out this weekend.
If you don’t want to lay it out for the mailman to pick up, you can drop it off at the post office on 5th Ave.
Bruckner & Cleberg tells us where the food donated are dropped off at.
Saturday’s weather forecast is calling for potential for rain, Bruckner & Cleberg recommends maybe double bagging the food items.
