YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Commissioner Stephanie Moser was elected Yankton Mayor by her fellow commissioners at Monday night’s meeting.

That came following swearing in of three elected commissioners and reorganization for the year.

Moser says she was honored by the vote.

Moser says the city will have some big events this summer.

Moser says ongoing finances and budgeting is always a concern.

Newly elected commissioner Mike Villanueva along with incumbents Bridget Benson and Nathan Johnson were sworn in for three year terms.
